COVID-19 UPDATE & SAFETY PROTOCOL

As COVID-19 continues to affect our communities, the health and safety or our patients and associates is of the utmost importance to us. In accordance with local, state, and federal health officials, we are implementing safety measures to protect everyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Please take all of the necessary precautions to stay safe.

Steps That We Are Taking To Ensure Your Safety

We will be following all CDC guidelines and will revise accordingly to ensure the safety of our patients, our doctors and associates.

Protective Equipment

Please arrive on time at our location with a face mask or cloth face covering.

Our staff will have available to them masks, gloves, protective eyewear, slit lamp shields, disinfectant supplies, touchless thermometers, and breathe shields at workstations.

Social Distancing

We ask associates and patients to observe 6 feet of social distancing whenever possible. In the event that our location cannot provide adequate social distancing, we may ask you to wait outside or in your vehicle and we will contact you once we are ready.

Our Doctors of Optometry will be leaving the exam doors slightly ajar to promote circulation within the exam room.

We will offer “curbside dispensing” of glasses and/or contact lenses if you are more comfortable we can also ship them. For repairs or adjustment please call to set up an appointment.

Limiting the Number of Patients

Please be patient while we limit the number of customers entering the store to adhere to the CDC social distancing guidelines.

Cleaning Equipment

Each pair of eyeglass frames will be disinfected before and after use. All equipment and surfaces will be cleaned after every exam and patient visit.

We will be limiting the number of essential exams to no more than 2 per hour. This will provide our staff ample time to disinfect and thoroughly clean after each patient visit.

Hand Hygiene

Our staff will be following the CDC guidelines for handwashing and sanitizing. As well as request patients to do so open entering our location.
